Privacy policy
Last updated 29 October 2026
The short version
- We don't sell your data, and we never will. We don't show ads and we don't run analytics or tracking scripts.
- Browsing chewedfeed.com sets no cookies. You can look at everything here without us storing anything about you.
- We keep only what you send us, such as a message through one of our products' contact forms, and the basic records of who uses our products.
Who we are
ChewedFeed is the trading name of Keloran Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16481416 ("we", "us"). For the personal data in this policy we're the data controller under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
This policy covers chewedfeed.com and ChewedFeed HQ, our own records of enquiries and customers. Each of our products, such as TrackLin.es, has its own privacy policy for the data you put into it.
You can ask us anything about this policy through our contact form.
What we collect
- Enquiries. When you send a message through a contact form on one of our product sites, we store your name, email address, company if you give one, your message, which product and page it came from, and when you sent it.
- Product customers. When you sign up for one of our products, it sends us your name, email address, plan and billing status, and when you signed up. We never receive card details or anything you put into the product.
- Technical data. Network addresses and request logs, kept by our hosting provider to keep the service secure and fix problems. Errors are reported to BugFix.es, our error-tracking service.
We publish the total number of customers and paying customers across our products. These are counts only and never identify anyone.
How we use it
We use enquiries to reply to you, and customer records to support you, run our products and understand how they're doing. Our legal bases are: replying to what you asked us (our legitimate interests, or taking steps before a contract at your request); providing the product you signed up for (contract); keeping our services secure (our legitimate interests); and keeping records the law requires (legal obligation).
Who we share it with
We share data only with the companies that help us run ChewedFeed, and only what each one needs:
We may also disclose data when the law requires it, or to protect our users or our services. If the business is ever sold or merged, your data would move with it, under this policy.
International transfers
Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, the United States and other countries outside the UK. When data leaves the UK, it's protected by the safeguards UK law requires, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses, or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with what you asked, or until you ask us to delete them.
- Customer records for as long as you have an account with the product, or until you ask us to delete them.
- Logs for a short period, for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies
We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and visitors get none at all. The only cookies are for our own admin sign-in:
| Name | What it's for | How long |
|---|---|---|
oauth_state | Checking a GitHub sign-in really started here | 10 minutes |
session | Keeping the admin signed in | 7 days |
Security
All traffic to and from chewedfeed.com is encrypted. Only we can see enquiries and customer records. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach ever affects your data, we'll tell you and the regulator as the law requires.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy in a portable format, restrict or object to how we use it, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. Send your request through our contact form and we'll respond within a month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Children
Our products are tools for developers and aren't meant for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their data, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
